As a visitor to OpenPolicy.me,
I want to register for the newsletter easily,
So that I can receive updates about new bills, platform features, and civic participation opportunities.
Acceptance Criteria:
✅ A prominent “Subscribe to Newsletter” section is added to the homepage footer and blog pages.
✅ A modal or inline form allows users to enter their email address and click “Subscribe”.
✅ On submission, the email address is stored securely in the newsletter system (e.g., Mailchimp or custom DB).
✅ A success message or thank-you confirmation appears after a successful subscription.
✅ Duplicate or invalid emails are handled gracefully with appropriate error messages.
✅ Include a privacy statement/link near the form that explains email usage and data policy.
✅ Subscribed users are added to the “[OpenPolicy Newsletter]” audience segment.
